TEN YEARS LATER... and we're finally getting hitched folks! We're looking forward to celebrating the day with our nearest and dearest (you lovely peeps), and we hope you can all make it. Our wedsite has been designed to give you all the info you need to be able to celebrate with us on the day. Fenton won the geographical battle, and the wedding will be taking place near his home in Herefordshire (but close enough to the border for the Welshies not to panic). The day will be set out into three stages; the service, the reception, and the party! Unfortunately we're extremely limited on space in the teeny weeny church, so we'll meet the majority at 'the field' where we hope to celebrate surrounded by all our friends and family who have been part of our lives over the past ten years (minus the kiddy winkles).

Church

Our wedding service will be held at the church of St Mary and St David's in Kilpeck. We have chosen (we think) the most amazing church to hold our service, and were lucky enough that the lovely Rev. Ashley Evans finally caved and agreed to marry us after nagging him for months ;-) There is space for parking outside the church, but we'd like to advise car sharing so that the grounds aren't completely chocoblock, meaning we can get to the reception as soon as possible without a country road traffic jam. Not to mention it being better for the environment of course! 'The field' is only 1 mile away, and there is an abundance of parking available there. Dress code is smarty pants, hats and/or vintage are strongly encouraged. Kilpeck church and its surroundings are both enchanting and intriguing, steeped in history. Being located so close to the ever shifting border, the church is in effect a Welsh building now on English soil (very appropriate for our English/Welsh union we think). If you're a history buff, or just nosey and you'd like to find out more about the church's past please follow the link...www.kilpeckchurch.org.uk

Reception

The Field
Our wedding celebrations will be held in a field near Fenton's parents home in Much Dewchurch. As most of you know we both love a good old festival knees up with friends and family, so we thought what better way to celebrate our wedding than with a festival style shindig.

Dress Code
Swanky pants attire is the dress code. Hats and/or vintage is encouraged, and sensible footwear is advised. You could always sling a pair of comfies in a bag to change into. We'll probably bring our wellies just in case the heavens open!

Roast, Rugby and Revelries will be the key goings on. We will be sharing our big day with another special big day - Rugby World Cup Wales vs England pool match! Sticking with the England/Wales theme, it would be rude of us not to engage in the match. The rugby will of course be shown. We expect (and encourage) plenty of rivalry banter. You will of course be expected to pick a supporting side - just make sure it's the right one ;-)

Food & Drink
We will be keeping the meal very casual with a hog roast (Veggies hands up!). If any of you have any dietary requirements then please let us know so we can accommodate as best we can. There will be a cash only bar on site selling the usual tipples at very reasonable prices. So please remember to stock up on cash before you arrive folks, or you'll be drinking from the farmers water hose :-)

Parking
There will be plenty of parking on site, and also plenty of room for camping should you wish to immerse yourselves into the full festival experience. We will be camping, so we'd like you to join us. Camping would mean you can park in the field, party into the early hours and roll into your tent to get some well deserved shut-eye. We have the field until the Monday, so you're welcome to make the most of not having any sprogs with you and camp until then should you wish. Glamping will be available for those who want to stay in luxury, and local hotels/cottages can accommodate you posh folk. Please see the "Accommodation Page" for more info and how to book. Here's to spending a lovely day with good company, good music, good food, drink, lots of love, laughter and jollies!

Party

Ten Years Later
This year will mark ten years since we met. Ten years later...we thought we'd throw a big old party to celebrate putting up with each other for a decade. We love a good party, and want to make ours a fun and memorable occasion. With all of the formalities out of the way, by 7pm we'll be in party mode!

Rugby
What better way to start the fun and games than watching the Rugby?! As you know we both love our international rivalry, so we ask you all to get involved in the friendly banter. For those of you who don't know the rules - not to worry, we have plenty of games up our sleeves to get you in the rugby spirit. First things first, pick a side, and we'll take it from there...!

Crazy Legs
Once everyone is in high spirits after the rugga, expect good music, good food, plenty of flowing drink, and a chance to throw some shapes on the dance floor *que Fenton's crazy legs*

Food
Snacks and nibbles will be provided in the evening. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements, so that we have something for everyone. That way no one goes hungry. Cheese is a firm favourite of ours, there will be lots of it. Anyone with a dairy allergy; speak now or forever hold your peace.

Parking
Parking is available on the field, and lots of it. 'The field' is in the Herefordian sticks, the easiest way to get there is by car. So drive yourselves there, park up, have a few drinky winkys, roll into your sleeping quarters (aka tent).

Camping
Camping on site is highly encouraged, whether your slumming it in a pup tent or glamping in a bell tent. Make the most of a child free weekend, and stay until Monday if you want. We'll be there :-)

Taxi
For those of you staying nearby, we'll have a taxi driver on standby should you wish to use him. The taxi driver is a pretty cool local guy who is up for a chinwag, and very reasonable price wise. The cash only bar will be providing the usual pub drinks. Pints, wine, spirits, mixers...all the old favs at pub prices. Hereford pubs that is, not London ones! So... Dancing shoes at the ready folks...let's have a wedding party to remember!

Camping

We will be camping the night of the wedding, and would love all you guests to join us in the festival spirit. As its a special occasion, we thought we'd offer an option of camping luxury to those wanting to stay on the field.

Glamping
Glamping is available to book through a great little company called The Tipi and Bell Tent Hire Company. Pre booked tents/tipis will be erected before the arrival of guests. Tents will be pitched from Friday - Monday, so guests are more than welcome to stay the whole time, or part of the time as you wish.

Bell Tents
Bell tents start from £130 for the weekend, and sleep 4. Tipi's are also available for hire. They're more expensive starting at £310 for the weekend, but you can fit more people in - up to 6 for that size tipi. There will be a £10 delivery charge per tent. If there are loads of bookings then the delivery charge can be reduced. There various options and packages to suit your budgets, number sharing etc so it's worth having a peep on the website www.thetipihirecompany.co.uk

Bookings

Bookings should be made using the reference: KATIE&FENT26SEPT via the website www.thetipihirecompany.co.uk or by emailing Anji Morrall at tipiandbelltenthire@gmail.com or calling her on 07834768348

Normal Camping
For those of you who want to slum it and save a few pennies, you're more than welcome to bring your own tents and pitch them up at the field. There will be a designated camping area. Best to come early so you have plenty of time to set up camp before the festivities begin. All kinds of homes are welcome; campers, caravans, trailer tents...whatever floats your boat. There's enough room for everyone! We advise to pitch up by midday if you're a church guest, around 2pm if you're a reception guest, and just before it gets dark if you're an evening guest.

Unfortunately there won't be showers on site, but there will be portaloos, drinking water, fun and games! Here's to us happy campers! For those of you not brave enough to camp there insolently of local hotels, guest houses, B&B's, and holiday cottages to suit all budgets...

F&Q's

How do I get to the church?
The church of St Mary and St David's is located in the village of Kilpeck. HR2 9ND. The church is accessible by car from the Hereford/Abergavenny A465 road, and the Hereford/Ross A49 then B4348. The nearest train stations are Abergavenny and Hereford. Best thing to do is whack the postcode into a reliable satnav.

How do I get to the festival site?
'The Field' is located near Much Dewchurch. HR2 8BF. The field will be clearly sign posted from each end (A465 and the B4348). Look out for the sign posts for Kilpeck, and then Black House Farm. The field is located close to the road, and has good vehicle access from the road.

Is there a cash point near by?
There won't be a cash point on site as the field is situated in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. We advise that all guests bring cash with them to the event. The nearest cash point is about 12 minutes drive away from the field at Belmont Tesco.

What should I wear?
We would like to encourage smart attire for all day. We feel that headwear isn't worn enough in contemporary wedding, so hats are highly encouraged. Colour and Vintage is also encouraged. As the event will be held in a field, we advise that guests wear appropriate footwear, or chuck a spare pare of dancing shoes in your bag for later. Wellies could also be an idea; covering all angles when it comes to the great British weather.

Will there be toilets on the campsite?
There will be portaloos on the event site for your convenience. Unfortunately for those camping showers will not be available unfortunately but we think this just adds to the overall festival vibe ;-)

What time should I pitch my tent?
Glamping accommodation will be pre-erected before the event by the company http://www.thetipihirecompany.co.uk, so all you have to do is turn up if you've booked through them. For those bringing their own tents, we advise you pitch up as early as possible. Church Guests should aim to set up by around 11am/midday ready for the service at 2pm Reception guests should aim to pitch up by 1pm. Evening guests should set up camp before the sun goes down.

Will there be a taxi service to hand?
We have organised to have a taxi driver on hand at the site. He's very reasonably priced and will work as a shuttle service, dropping people to their local accommodation. If you prefer to pre-book: City Cars - 07889611292 Taxi 4 U - 01432341234 Abbey Cars - 01981570301 Central Taxis - 01432279167

Can I bring my children to the event?
Unfortunately we've decided against having children there on the day. We thought it'd be a nice chance for friends and family to have a child free weekend. That way everyone can let their hair down, relax, and get involved. Immediate family sprogs will be attending.

Can I bring my pet?
No!

What can I give for a wedding gift?
We don't expect any kind of gift from our guests. Just having you spend the day with us is gift enough. However if you do feel inclined to gift us, money towards our honeymoon travels would be hugely appreciated.

Is smoking permitted at the event?
There will be a designated area for the dirty smokers :-) Smoking will not be permitted inside the wedding marquee.

What time does the event finish?
You can't put a time on fun! On the Saturday night the music will stop when guest stop dancing, and the bar packs up when you stop drinking.

Can I camp all weekend?
Abso-blinking-lutely! The farmer has kindly allowed us to have the field all weekend. We will be camping until the Monday, so all guests are welcome to join us. The Bell Tent company will be collecting the tents on the Monday too. On the Sunday we'll have a chance to have a breakfast butty, cuppa and a chillax on the field, soaking in the picturesque location.

Are camping BBQ's permitted?
Food will be provided on the day of the wedding. On the Sunday BBQs are definitely permitted and encouraged.
